At Between the Buns, we hate junk mail, junk Email, telemarketers, and all that stuff. Occasionally, personal information is gathered for drawings, email sign-ups, contests, registrations, and reservations. We firmly DO NOT believe in giving this information to anyone except our management company BTB, llc. BTB, llc., is the management company for Between the Buns and will only use information for marketing purposes for Between the Buns events, events where Between the Buns will be participating, for events that people have participated in previously, or for emailing where people have given their written consent to participate or opted-in electronically.
If you don't want to receive our emails, we don't want to bother you with them. If you'd like to opt-out of our email system, click here. In the rare instance (which has never happened yet) that a sponsor wants personal information, those individuals will be informed prior to the distribution of information. Between the Buns - Wireless Internet Policy
Between The Buns provides an unfiltered wireless Internet Hot Spot. This service is for patrons with Wireless-capable devices, such as wireless-capable laptops and handheld computers. This service is intended to be available during the normal operating hours of the The Buns. However, the The Buns cannot guarantee that wireless service will be available at any specific time.
To access the wireless network, you need a laptop or handheld computer, we don’t provide one. Most new laptops and mobile devices that come configured for wireless access can automatically pick up the wireless signal. Individuals may need to know how to use their wireless device’s configuration software to connect to the wireless network.
Due to liability issues, The Buns staff is not allowed to configure patrons’ laptops or handheld devicess or install any devices or software on those computers.
Wireless networks are not secure and use is at the individual's own risk. Virus, security and privacy protection are the responsibility of the patron and are not provided by the The Buns. The Buns is not responsible for any damage to data files, alteration to file systems, or functionality of the computer resulting from connecting to the wireless network. The Buns is not responsible for damage, theft, loss of property, personal information, software or other personal property used in the The Buns.
The Buns cannot guarantee Internet speed or quality of the connection. The Buns does not supply electrical power for patron equipment. The patron is responsible for supplying charged batteries. The Buns does not supply printing on the wireless network.
Although the Buns believes in the free speech provisions of the Constitution, it is unacceptable to send, receive, or display text or graphics which may reasonably be construed as obscene by community standards. It is illegal to view, send, receive, print, distribute, or display visual depictions that are child pornography. It is also illegal to view, send, receive, print, distribute, or display visual depictions that are harmful to minors if you are a minor, are in the presence of minor/s, or are communicating with minors.
Users viewing sites that could be construed as obscene will be asked to power down. Failure to comply with such requests will result in a request to leave the The Buns. Failure to comply with that request will be reported to the police. A second incident of this nature will result in barring from The Buns for a period of time not less than six months.
